Aleeda Dearden Obituary (1929

Aleeda Claudine Bellander Dearden returned quietly to her Heavenly Father on August 1, 2013 to join many waiting family members including her sweetheart and companion, Carl, her daughter, Glenna, her parents, grandparents and many more friends and family members.Aleeda was born November 1, 1929 in Ely, Nevada to Claudia Bernetta Baker and Glen Alfred Bellander. She was born into a family that was filled with love and she never questioned her parents devotion and love to her. Aleeda married Carl James Dearden at the family home in Baker, Nevada on November 14, 1949. They were sealed as a couple and had their family sealed to them on June 13, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Five children were born into their family Glenna Claudine; Thomas Carl (Rhea) Panguitch, UT; Caralee Lyon (Duane) Cedar City, UT; Kayleen Hansen (Kip) Cedar City, UT; and Glen James (Cheryl) Burbank, UT completed their family. Aleeda and Carl lived and raised their family in Burbank, Utah. We were taught to pull together and support each other as building a strong family was their goal. We worked, played, laughed, and occasionally cried together. Aleeda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, a daughter Glenna, a brother, Devon and her parents Claudia and Glen Bellander. She is survived by a sister Kareen Kerr (Duane) Ely, NV, two sons and two daughters, 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Garrison LDS Chapel in Garrison, UT. Viewings will be held on Monday August 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 North 300 West, Cedar City, UT) and on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 11:00-12:30 pm at the Garrison LDS Church in Garrison, UT.
