Beatrice Kelser passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on March 28, 2017 in Redlands, California.   Beatrice was born on January 18, 1931 in Greenville, Utah to Delmer Loten Kesler and Hazel Blackner. Her family finds comfort in knowing she was ready to be with the Lord, and to join her loved ones who have gone before her.  This beautiful mother of two will be defined by her daughters and grandchildren for her legacy of love, generosity, style and grace, lifelong work ethic, and rising to and overcoming the challenges in life.  She always supported her family and encouraged them in their endeavors.  She always made a stable home for her daughters and welcomed her family with open arms.  She was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends.  Bea loved the large family she came from and tried to keep in touch with her siblings and many nieces and nephews. She loved to dance, sing with her sisters, play cards and games, bowling, gardening, and especially playing golf.  Bea played many golf courses throughout the country while she was married. She was very active in the Indio Ladies Golf Club for the 16 years she lived in Indio after she was widowed.  She had three “hole in one” awards during that time and made many good friends. Bea moved to Lake Arrowhead to be with her daughter Janice during the last two years of her life.  Because of lung issues and constant oxygen dependency, she had to move to a lower elevation when she was under hospice care the last months of her life.  Bea celebrated her 86th birthday at a party with friends at Pacific Pines Care in Redlands, the Morgans who came from Utah, and the Markovichs from Lake Arrowhead. Beatrice was married to George Duane Spainhower in 1947, and they were later divorced.  She married Irvin Howard Wade in 1963, and they were later divorced.  Beatrice was married to George Rangvold Leon in 1989 until his death in 1999. Beatrice worked for Crown Zellerbach Corporation in Los Angeles for 35 years.  She was a Division Manager at the time of her retirement. She is survived by her daughters, Sande Spainhower Morgan (Stephen) of Ivins, UT and  Janice Spainhower Markovich (widow of Peter) of Lake Arrowhead, CA; sister Sharen Fransworth of Billings, MT; grandson Dax Morgan, granddaughter Julie Morgan and great granddaughter Alexa Morgan, all of Ivins, UT; grandson Jeff Markovich  (Amanda) of Lake Arrowhead, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Leon, husband Irvin Wade, husband George Duane Spainhower, 6 sisters, 2 brothers, and her grandson Christopher Markovich.  Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 pm at the Greenville Cemetery.
