Betty Owen Imbrescia passed away on August 13, 2021. She was 90 years old. Betty was born in Suffolk, Virginia on March 24, 1931 and lived there for many years. She attended high school in Virginia. Her daughter Celia and son Jimmy were born there. Betty was a hair stylist in her younger years. She and her family also lived in North Carolina, Texas and Florida. Betty and Celia have lived in Cedar City Utah for more than 25 years. They were faithful attenders at both St Jude’s Episcopal Church and Community Presbyterian Church. Betty had a strong Christian faith and was especially committed to helping many organizations who served others. Though she was on a fixed income, she sent donations regularly to those in need, both people and animals. Betty is survived by her daughter Celia.\nA memorial service will be held for Betty on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, 2279 N Wedgewood Ln, Cedar City. Light refreshments will follow. Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
