Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, Brice Lynn Paul passed away on July 31, 2021. He was born on August 4, 1952 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Homer William and Edna Matilda Hansen Paul. He was a proud graduate of Blackfoot High School of 1970. He married his eternal sweetheart Linda Mae Stutz on July 23, 1982 in Midvale, Utah.\nBrice was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in many capacities. He loved traveling, and he and Linda have traveled to many amazing places in the world.\nBrice loved helping people in his profession as a Memorial Counselor and in his everyday life. It didn’t matter if it was family or someone on the street. He loved his family dearly and would stop at anything to help or show love to them. His love for the gospel and his Savior was where he found great joy. There was not a more loving and caring man around. Known by many, loved by all.\nBrice is survived by his loving wife Linda Mae Paul of Cedar City, UT. His children; Michael Shane (Jill) Ashby of Herriman, UT, Stephen Wells (Marcia Garcia) Ashby of Cedar City, UT, Jeff Dennis Ashby of Cedar City, UT, John William (Crystal) Paul of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Janet Lynn Ashby of Reno, NV. Also, his sister Sheryl Lee Paul of Blackfoot, ID. He was the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.\nHe is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Edna Paul and his brother Steve Dale Paul.\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 N 300 W, Cedar City, UT 84720. A viewing will be held prior to the services on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 9:30-11:30 am at the Mortuary. On Saturday, August 7, 2021 a viewing will be held at 12:00 pm at Memorial Estates Mountain View, 3115 Bengal Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. Graveside services will then be held at 1:00 pm at Memorial Estates Mountain View under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
