Carey Trujillo

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend Carey Trujillo past away August 19, 2009 in Cedar City, Utah. Carey was born January 28, 1934 in Mogollon New Mexico to Maximiana and Pat Garcia. Carey married the love of her life James Trujillo January 20, 1951 in Silver City New Mexico. They moved to California in 1953 and together they were blessed with 1 daughter and 2 sons. She moved to Cedar City Utah in 2000. Carey loved traveling, hunting, camping, trips to Mesquite, playing bingo and spending time with her family especially her grand children and great grandchildren. Carey once said she never new you could love someone more than her kids, until her grandchildren came along.Carey is survived by her best friend and loving husband James Trujillo, her daughter Dolly Trujillo-Wearn,( Marc), sons Johnny,( Crystal ), James (Arlene) Trujillo, grandchildren Joe ( Natalie) and Anthony Avila, Courtney, Brianna, Avery, Jeanette, James, Vanessa, Charlene Trujillo, Great grandchildren Melissa and Jennifer Avila, Nicolas James Bustos and Daniel Soto.Carey was the love of our lives. She will be missed more than words can ever say. We will never say goodbye instead we will say we love you, we miss you, until we meet again.We would like to thank Iron County Home Health for the love and care the staff gave to Carey and family. Viewing will held Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West Cedar City and Services Monday at 10am at Christ The King Church, 690 S Cove, Cedar City.
