Carmen DeDe Leslie Weymouth Dark, age 59, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on September 22, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Carmen was born on December 11, 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts to William H Walter and Carmen Rachel Amos Weymouth. She graduated from Chatsworth High, CA, backpacked across Europe with a high school friend Sharon Weiner. Then went to Jr. College in the San Fernando Valley to the Fashion Institute and then again later to become a medical assistant. Carmen married Robert Dark, December 14, 1974 in Canaga Park, CA. She worked as a Phlebotomist for 30 years in where she excelled at taking blood. She received the nickname DeDe from her brother Billie when she was a baby and he couldnt say sister. She loved animals and contributed to many organizations to help pets. She was a member of the LDS Church, and loved to spend time with her family. All her nieces and nephews will miss their Auntie DeDe. She is survived by her husband Robert Lee Dark of Sunnyvale, TX., her step son Steven Dark and step grandson Colin Dark, both of Bremerton, WA., and brother in law Gary Dark of St. Louis MO. Her mother Carmen R Amos Weymouth of Kanarraville, UT., brother William H. (Charlinda) Weymouth of Kanarraville, UT., nephew Michael (Cassie) Weymouth of Toquerville, UT., their children Cody Colby & Mickayla. Her niece Michele Weymouth of CA., aunt LaRay Abbott and nephews Mark & Carl Abbott. She is preceded in death by her father William Weymouth, her parents in law Lillian & Ken Nieters of St. Louis, MO., and Robert & Ida Marie Dark, of Las Vegas, NV. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Kanarraville LDS Ward Chapel located in Kanarraville, UT. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 East 10600 South in Sandy, Utah on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
