Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Carol Lundgreen Adams, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Cedar City, Utah, surrounded by her family.She was born February 14, 1928 to Arthur Christian and Rose Nell Emett Lundgreen in Monroe, Utah. She married Gordon M. Sorensen on December 12, 1947, and later Clemont B. Adams on November 25, 1983 " together they spent many years enjoying each others companionship and love. She will be dearly missed by many and leaves all of us a long legacy of love and countless cherished memories. She had a steadfast and enduring testimony of our Saviors love and served faithfully in numerous LDS church callings, including Ward Relief Society President and Counselor in other presidencies. We are certain a joyous reunion is taking place as she is reunited with both her parents, her stepmother, five brothers, and one sister.She loved talking with family and especially spending time with them. She always had toys, games, puzzles and sweets for the kids and grandkids, whom she truly adored. Her family and friends always benefitted from her unselfish love. She was an extremely talented seamstress, designing and creating patterns in her head. She made beautiful quilts and also mended missionaries clothing. She was an excellent cook, making wonderful meals from scratch. Many people benefitted from her countless acts of service, which was always performed in a genuine Christlike manner.She is survived by her husband, Clemont B. Adams of Cedar City, and her children Ken (Susan) Sorensen of Gilbert, Arizona, Kay Lyn (Reed) Draney of Tempe, Arizona, Scott (Charla) Sorensen of Cedar City, Utah, Jerry (Brenda) Sorensen of Brookside, Utah, Janell (Herb) Hamilton of Mesa, Arizona, Lenora (Gene) Roundy of Cedar City, Utah, Linda (Clyde) Hayes of Elk Ridge, Utah, Don (Mary Ann) Adams of North Platte, Nebraska, Harl (Necia) Adams of Cedar City, Utah, Hal (Ann) Adams of Moab, Utah, Neil Adams of Cedar City, Utah, Suann (Mike) Fleming of Mesa, Arizona and her sister Ruth (Hal) Peterson of Monroe, Utah. She also leaves behind 62 grandchildren and 99 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Cedar LDS Rock Church Ward Chapel, 75 East Center Street, Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West Cedar City, Utah. Internment will be at the Cedar City Cemetery, all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
