Clarise West Obituary (1930

Clarise Virginia West, Age 82, passed away on August 13, 2013 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born in Murray, Utah on September 12, 1930 to Leonard Herman and Eva Virginia Jensen Anderson. Clarise worked for RCA for over 25 years in Monrovia, California. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many positions in the Primary, including Primary President. Clarise enjoyed her time and friendships at the Senior Center, especially playing bridge. She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles in her spare time. Clarise is survived by her children; Lawrence (Rebekah) Donohoo of Eagle, ID, Vicki (Randy) Halterman of Cedar City, UT, and Patti (Charles) Pearcy of Cedar City, UT. Her sisters; Shirlene (Bill) Handshy of San Bernardino, CA and Carma King of Oceanside, CA., along with 10 wonderful grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin West, brother Darrell Beard and grandson Adam Pearcy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Cedar Meadows Chapel (370 N 4050 W) in Cedar City. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the Church from 12:00 -1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Oakdale Cemetery located in Glendora, California on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
