David Heslington

David William “Papa Hes” Heslington, age 78, passed away on April 17, 2019 at his home in Beaver, Utah. He was born on September 7, 1940 in Beaver, Utah to Melbourne and Alice Ward Heslington. He married Jolene Lessing on October 24, 1958 in Beaver, Utah.
David graduated from Beaver High School with the class of 1958. He was a member of the Thoroughbred Association, was an Eagle Scout, attended Boy’s State in high school and was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.
David was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and friend. A proud supporter of Beaver High School athletics. He loved his rides in the mountains with his daughter Jodi. Enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Curt. And proudly supported his grandchildren through all of their accomplishments. He also enjoyed helping out at the horse races.
David is survived by his children Jodi (Bill) Coon of Beaver, UT, Curt (Michelle) Heslington of Beaver, Utah, and daughter-in-law Pam (Heslington) Bryan of Long Beach, CA. Along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jolene Heslington. His son Todd Heslington, grandson Cory Heslington, his parents Mel and Alice Heslington, his sister Marjean Heslington and brother Jack Heslington.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 12:30 am at the Beaver 1st Ward. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the Church from 9:00-12:00 pm.
