He spent most of his life in Southern Utah and loved the area.\nHe was born October 15, 1950 in Cedar City, Utah. He graduated from Cedar High School in 1969. He is the 3rd of 6 children. Larson (Jessica) of Layton, JoLynn of Cedar City, Marianna of Buckeye, AZ, Kaleen (Sarah) of Cedar City, Ian (Kira) of Cedar City, and Morgan of Hurricane.\nDavid loved anything with motors and dirt. He had so many projects (and still does!) to complete and was always on a mission to get one done, along with starting a couple more at the same time. He loved motorcycles, demolition derbies, projects, hunting, trucking, projects, multi tools, guns, projects, mud bogs, and just playing outside in anything that would get him covered in dirt and grease. He was one of the middle children…and that says a lot about how he lived his life!\nDavid’s funeral will be at Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City on Saturday, March 13, 2021. There will be a viewing from 12:00-1:00 with the service to follow. Masks required. The service will be streamed through the Southern Utah Mortuary website. He requested his remains be scattered on top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, to be taken care of this summer. Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.\n \n\nTo plant Memorial Trees in memory of David W Wood, please click here to visit our Sympathy Store.
