Donald “Don” “Tony” Sonsalla age 79, adoring husband and loving father of 2, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 20, 2022.\n\nDonald was born in 1942 and grew up surrounded by his large family. He proudly served in the marines for 6 years before moving to Southern CA. His son Scott was born in CA and he met his wife, Melody Sonsalla in 1972. They were married in 1978. He was an avid camper and spent most of his free time camping all over CA and UT. When he went on a camping trip to Beaver, UT he had finally found his “happy place”. He moved his family to Beaver in 1981 and he lived out his life in the Beaver mountains. \n\nHe will be greatly missed by his family, especially his wife Melody, his son Scott and his daughter Stacey. He was an amazing “Papa” to 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. \n\n“In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.”\n\nPer Don’s wishes, there will be no services held.
