Dorothy Robinson, our dearly-loved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Paragonah, Utah on May 24, 2021 at the age of 88. She graduated from this life with high honors and joined her beloved husband, Bud, after 17 long years of separation.\nDorothy was born on January 19, 1933 in Parowan, Utah to Eugene and Monta Warren, the third of six children. She married her high school sweetheart, Elmo ‘Bud’ Robinson, on November 21, 1950 in the St. George Temple, just weeks before he shipped out for the Korean War. While he was fighting in Korea, she graduated from Parowan High School and bought their first little home in Paragonah. As they raised and nurtured their large family, they lived first in Paragonah, then in Orem, Utah for 17 years. They moved back to Paragonah in 1978, where they created a haven for their posterity. \nDorothy was generous and loving, creative, multi-talented, artistic, and self-sufficient. She dedicated her entire life to loving her family! In addition to cooking homemade meals, making clothes, and creating a loving home, she won awards in sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting, gardening, and wood working. Much of her greatest joy came from creating a beautiful home and yard, and her vegetable gardens were the envy of the entire town. Because her love language was giving, every one of her posterity have beautiful handmade creations that they cherish.\nShe was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. Together she and Bud taught their children to serve others, to love one another, to be kind and generous, and to work hard. Dorothy leaves a legacy of Christ-like love for her large posterity.\nDorothy is survived by nine of her eleven children, Valerie (Bob) Ross, Teresa (Layne) Pace, JoAnn (Chuck) Hughes, Cindy Mollner, John (WeiWei) Robinson, Brenda (Dale) Paskett, Todd (Sherrie) Robinson, Jill Robinson, and Joshua (Tammy) Robinson; 38 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
