On Monday, January 30, 2023 Gail Earl “JR” Grimshaw finished his three year battle with cancer. He was 43 years old. JR was the youngest son born to Gail Robert and Amelia Lizette Grimshaw. He graduated from Uintah High School in 1998. Shortly after he served a two year mission for the LDS Church in Eugene, Oregon. JR devoted many years to the oil and gas industry. His work gave him many opportunities to live and travel all over the world.\n\n\nJR had a personality that was loved by everyone around him. He enjoyed making people smile. Whether it was a joke or lending a hand, he was always there no matter if you were a friend, family, or a stranger. His work travels gave him the opportunity to make friends and add to “bonus” family everywhere he went. Over the years, he had numerous hobbies. From Harley rides that took him across many states, to scuba diving that allowed him to explore ocean floors. He enjoyed so much of the outdoors in his free time.\n\n\nJR is survived by his parents, Gail and Liz Grimshaw; his older brother, Lance (Vanessa) Grimshaw; and two nephews, Gage and Tyler Grimshaw; grandmas, Joann Grimshaw and Maxine Wamsley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandpas; Conrad Grimshaw and Nathan Bozarth.\n\n\nFamily and Friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, which will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (195 N 200 W, Beaver, UT).
