Gary Lavell Boyter\n\nOur loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend died August 5, 2023, peacefully at home. Born to James Philo and Alta Jones Boyter on October 5, 1935, in Beaver, Utah. He was married to Coleen Hancock on September 5, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his wife owned and operated gas stations & Shifty's lounge in Las Vegas over the years. He served on the Aero Squadron, Sheriff Search and Rescue.\n\nGary enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, camping, boating and four wheeling at the sand dunes with family and friends. He had a fun sense of humor and was an amazing gentle man and hard worker.\n\nHe is survived by longtime girlfriend Pam Pam Orlando and children Gary P. & Dorene Boyter and Sabrina Daniels, Sharee Davis of Salt Lake City, Jerry & Jan Boyter, David & Susan Boyter, Chrishonna & Jaye Strough of Las Vegas, Turea & Douglas Alford of Lubbock, TX. And by 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.\n\nLas Vegas viewing will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89129.\n\nA viewing will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at Southern Utah Mortuary at 195 North 200 West, Beaver, Utah 84713.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 9:30 am at the LDS Church at 220 North Main Street, Beaver, Utah. A private family prayer will take place at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Beaver, Utah under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
