Gary Roberts

Gary William Roberts, 90, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026 in Beaver, Utah. He was born May 20, 1936 in Beaver, Utah to Elmer George and Louise Huntington Roberts. He graduated from Beaver High school and lived the majority of his life in Beaver Utah. He spent 7 years serving in the Utah National Guard.

Gary spent most of his career as a truck driver hauling gasoline around Utah. He served in the Iron County Search and Rescue for the 10 years he lived in Cedar City. He enjoyed hunting with his cousin Ben Baldwin.

Gary is survived by his wife Carol Goble, their daughter Melanie Roberts (Michael Manese), and Carol’s three sons from a previous marriage: Steven Tolman, Scot (Traci) Tolman, and Kyle (Suzanne) Tolman. Gary was previously married to Sandra Evans. They had two daughters together Christy (Rock) Simpson and Colette Bancroft.

Gary had four grandchildren: Jamie, Amber, Megan, Breezie and five step grandchildren: MaCayla, Malarie, Douglas, Tyler, Amy.

Gary is proceeded in death by his parents, younger brother Ronald (Ronnie), and daughter Colette.

A graveside service will be held on September 11, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to
