Grayce McBride Obituary (1930 - 2011)

Grayce Lee Hansen McBride passed away peacefully December 23, 2011 at her daughter Gerris home in Pioche, Nevada.Grayce was born on December 19, 1930 in Payson, Utah to Charles and Emma Hansen. She, along with her eight siblings, grew up in Panaca, Nevada and she graduated from Lincoln County High School. She married Gene McBride in Panaca on June 4, 1950. They were happily married and celebrated 33 years together before Genes tragic death in 1983.Her family, friends, church and Panaca were very important to her.Grayce is survived by her children, Garry (Marie) McBride, Murph (Melanie McBride, Glenna (Delon) Edwards, Gerri (Curt) Phillips, and Greta ( Shane) Esplin.She is also survived by her 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, her brother Daniel Hansen and numerous nieces and nephews.Grayce was preceded in death by her husband Gene, parents Charles and Emma, Sisters Laura, Evelyn, Melba, and Brothers Clarence, Lloyd, Fred and David.Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Panaca Cemetery at 11 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Southern Nevada Mortuary.
