James Wesley Bryant, age 76 returned to his Heavenly Father, Saturday February 2, 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born February 2, 1937 to Orson and Elora Bryant in Cedar City, Utah. He was a graduate of Cedar High School, College of Southern Utah (now Southern Utah University), University of Utah and Golden Gate University where he earned his MBA degree. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962 He married his sweetheart of 47 years Paula Kay Webber on March 20, 1965, later sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple, April 24, 1986. They lived in Scottsdale, Arizona then relocated to Washington, Utah where they have lived for many years. He and Paula moved back to Arizona only a few months ago. Jim had a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and served in many different callings. He is survived by his wife Paula, son Ronald C. (Mary) Gilbert, Arizona, brother Jerry Bryant (Lillian) Cedar City, Utah three grandchildren Colter, Sara and Thomas and many nieces and nephews who fondly referred to him as "Uncle Wesley" He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister in laws, Kay (Arleen) , Harold (Joyce), Dern (Ruthell).Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West, Cedar City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:00-10:00 am at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
