Jamie Humphreys

–

Beaver, Utah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Lee Humphreys, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Jamie was born August 30, 1973 and passed away surrounded by her family on April 10, 2026. Jamie was a woman whose life was defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering love for others. For over 20 years, Jamie dedicated her life to caring for children through her in-home daycare, Tender Care Daycare. She created a safe, nurturing environment where countless children were loved, guided and treated as her own. Her impact on the families she served will be felt for generations. In addition to her work in childcare, Jamie was also a devoted CNA nurse. She carried her natural kindness and empathy into her profession, caring for patients with warmth, dignity, and a gentle spirit that brought comfort to so many.

Above all, Jamie was a proud and loving mother to her three children, who were the center of her world. She poured her heart into raising them, teaching them strength, kindness, and perseverance. Jamie had a special love for the holidays, especially Halloween. Jamie had a gift for making every celebration magical, creating memories filled with joy, laughter, and warmth for her children, family, and all the little ones in her care. Her ability to make even the simplest moments feel special will never be forgotten.

Her greatest joy in life was becoming a grandmother. Jamie was an incredible grandma, and the love she had for her grandchildren was unmatched. The pride and happiness they brought into her life was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Jamie so loved her grandkids, so much so that she defied all odds fighting to stay with us long enough to meet her newest granddaughter. There is nothing that would keep Jamie from moments spent with her grandkids.

Jamie was known for her kind heart, loving nature and compassionate soul. She faced many trials throughout her life, yet she met each one with courage, determination, and a will to live. She was truly a warrior - a survivor who never gave up, no matter the challenge.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and empathy will live on in the lives she touched.

Jamie is preceded in death by her father, David A. Cummings, her aunt, Chery Ann Huntsman, her mom's lifelong friend, Tammy Larsen, grandparents, Byron & Reva Stratton, Jay & Betty Cummings, grandmother Karma Anderson, and grandfather Paul Anderson.

She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Lynn & Angela Anderson, her children, Chase Dee (Chandra) Humphreys, Madison Humphreys and Bronson Anderson, her three grandchildren (a grandson on the way) and five bonus grandchildren, her sisters Nycole Cummings, Tina (Jaycie) Yardley, Lacy (Dustin) Williams, and Kami Turner, and her brothers Cody Cummings and Dustin (MaryLynn) Cummings.

A funeral will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Beaver 3rd Ward LDS Church (220 N Main, Beaver, UT 84713). A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm also at the church. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
