Tresa Janene Savage, age 71, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family on April 17, 2014 at her home in Cedar City, Utah after a two-month courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 2, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the oldest of seven children. She married her true love Jerry Savage 52 years ago on October 29, 1961 in Pioche, Nevada and later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Jerry and Janene were truly each other's sweethearts. Jerry was Janene's first and last kiss. Janene touched many lives with her generosity and kindness to all. One of her greatest joys in life was rocking her grandkids and great grandkids in her rocking chair. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various callings in the church. We are saddened by the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest passion was her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She always took the time for her family and enjoyed spending every moment with them. Janene is survived by her husband Jerold K. Savage of Cedar City, UT; children Tresa Robinson (David) of Circleville, UT; J. Keith Savage (Renon) of Cedar City, UT; Tracy Savage of Cedar City, UT; her sister Judy Smith (Tom) of Layton, UT; her brother Kenneth Riddle (Kathy) of Circleville, UT; brother Bruce Riddle of Central Valley, UT; brother Gary Riddle (Lori) of Layton, UT; brother Robert Riddle of Layton, UT; sister Cindy Wilkey (Richard) of Salt Lake City, UT; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Cedar North Stake Center (95 N 2125 W) in Cedar City, Utah. Viewings will be held Friday, April 25th from 6-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N 300 W) and Saturday, April 26th from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.
