Our bright and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and beloved friend passed away January 19, 2017, at the age of 38, with her loving husband, James, by her side. Janna Joline was born in Cedar City, Utah, November 1, 1978 to Kim and Terri (Holt) Hunter. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she developed a simple faith and love for her Savior early on. She grew up in Cedar City, attending South Elementary, Cedar Middle School, and Cedar High. In high school, she enjoyed debate, fishing, and being with her friends. She met her future husband, James Davidson, when they became lab partners in Biology class. It would take them seven years before they finally tied the knot. Soon after, they began their family and were blessed with three sons (Logan, Charlie, Kamden) and one daughter (Elayna) whom were the joy of Janna’s life. Janna attended cosmetology school after high school, loving to constantly change her great hair. She enjoyed her work life because she loved people so much. Working as office manager at the Cedar City Women’s Institute of Women’s Health turned out to be one of the greatest blessings of Janna’s life and her co-workers were like family. As a beautiful artist in her school years and the crafting queen throughout her life, Janna always had a fantastic eye for making things look good. She loved animals, crafting, coke, new jackets, extra soft blankets, watching her shows, playing any kind of games, and buying fabric and scrapbook paper she didn’t necessarily intend to use. Janna was diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer in October of 2015. She fought a tough 15 month battle with “Good Vibes”, humor, patience, and positivity that inspired everyone she met. When it was time for Janna to go back to her Heavenly Father she went with faith and grace. A big light went out in our lives the moment Janna left. Her smile and contagious love for people will be missed more than words can say, but we look forward to the day when we will reunite with her in Heaven. Special thanks go out to the amazing staff at the Sandra L. Maxwell Cancer Center for taking such tender care of our sweet Janna. She is survived by her husband James Davidson, her sons Logan (14), Charlie (11), Kamden (6) and her favorite daughter, Elayna (4). She also leaves behind her father, Kim, and her mother, Terri, her siblings, Shad, Kaycee (John) Turek, Justin, and Alyssa, her grandmother Betty (Benward) Hunter, grandmother-in-law Donna Hahn, father-in-law Ben Davidson, mother-in-law Cindy Davidson, brother-in-laws Mathew Davidson and Phil Mechem, sister-in-law Jennifer (Davidson) Mechem, plus 5 nephews and 1 niece who loved her to the moon and back. Janna also has an extended family and many close friends who love her fiercely. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Joline Holt, Grandfathers Neldon Holt and Haze Hunter, Grandfather-in-law John Hahn, and her friend and cousin, Bryce Moss. Celebration services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 11:00 am at the University Married LDS Stake Center located at 500 S 1100 W, Cedar City, UT.
