LaNetta Hall Sanders, 90, passed away December 2, 2019 in St. George Utah. She was born March 6, 1929 in Hurricane Utah to Lafayette and Mary Bertha Wood Hall. She married Mont Sanders November 19, 1949 in Hurricane, Utah and was later sealed in the St. George LDS temple. Mont and LaNetta moved to Cedar City where they made their home on 1150 West for 63 years and made many cherished memories. They were blessed with 5 children; Shearl, Monta, Maribeth, Glen & Greg.\n LaNetta held several jobs, but her favorite was working for the Iron County School District as an aide serving the students with special needs, a substitute teacher and ticket taker at every CHS event. She retired at age 83 and continued the hundreds of friendships she made for the rest of her life. She kept her hands busy turning thousands of skeins of yarn into gifts for friends and family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings over the years. She was present at every ball game, program, concert and birthday party she could possibly attend. \nShe was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mont, son Shearl Sanders, daughter MariBeth Sanders, great grandson Justin Munford and her 5 brothers and 1 sister. \nLaNetta is survived by her children, (daughter-in-law) Sandy Kinnick, Monta (Maurice) Munford, Glen (Angela) Sanders and Greg (Terri) Sanders, 16 grandchildren and 22 ½ great-grandchildren.\nFuneral services will be held Saturday December 7th at 11:00 am at the LDS YSA 1st Stake Center located at 900 West and Center Street. Viewings will be held Friday, December 6th from 6-8 pm and Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the same church building. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
