Jerry W. Hurlbert, 81, passed away on May 15, 2019, in Cedar City, Utah. He was born on March 18, 1938 to Joseph William and Annabelle Hurlbert in San Jose, California. He married Earlene Reynolds, and together they had 4 children. He served as a US Marine, and worked as a heavy equipment operator, and enjoyed gold mining as a hobby. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 12 for over 30 years.\n \nJerry is survived by his children, Karen Berry and Kim (Mark) Jenson, and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William Hurlbert and Annabelle Green Hurlbert; his wife, Earlene Reynolds Hurlbert; his son, Joseph, and daughter, Cathleen.\n \nAs requested, there will be no services. Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
