Joan Perron

Joan La Deen Perron (Bourne), age 89, of Beaver, Utah, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joan was born on November 10, 1936 to Oran Hazen and Bertha La Deen (Baxter) Bourne. She was 6th of seven children. All deceased but 1 surviving brother, Harold Oran Bourne, age 99, who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, Gary Nelson, father of her 4 children, Patrick Fitzgerald, and the love of her life Richard (Rusty) Perron, 5 of her siblings, sisters, Ordean Lavon (Bonnie) Stonebraker (Bourne), Laurel Mae Brunyer (Bourne), brothers, Gary Lee Bourne, Dell Alton Bourne, and Dennis Carl Bourne, 2 daughters, Marcie Rae Retza (Nelson) and Kellie Deen Burt (Nelson), and 2 great grandsons, Jeffery Burt and Ryan Brox.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Collins (Nelson), son, Joseph B. Nelson and wife Beverly Nelson, all live in Beaver, Utah, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.

Mom had a sense of great pride and determination. It's what kept her going to be 89 years old. Still driving and taking care of herself and her beautiful home.

She loved her family, gardening, fishing, camping, and singing. And of course her many animals throughout the years. She was a great cook who loved to entertain her family and friends in her home. She couldn't let a stray cat or racoon go hungry.

Great appreciation to all those who loved her and stood by her to the very end.
There will be no services per mom's wishes.
