John Farrell

Panguitch, UT - Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and adoptive grandfather passed away, peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, after a terrible battle with heart failure. He was born September 24, 1945 in New York to Anna Gouldsbury-Farrell and Thomas Farrell. John was a wonderful man with a kind and giving heart. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We loved John so very much, and he will be deeply missed. We loved his New York accent, and easy laugh. He often told his grandkids to “stay smooth” and spoiled them every chance he got. He was the greatest little league fan in Panguitch and rarely missed a game. Although he would have liked more time here on Earth, he was looking forward to reuniting with his sweet wife Doris who passed away July 28, 2015. John is survived by: John and Robert Farrell (his sons), Johnny (brother), William (brother), Linda (sister), Carol (sister), Kelly (niece), Anna (niece), Cade and Kim Harland (adoptive kids), and four adopted grandkids (Cole, Kadee, Brooklyn and Bryce). John was preceded in death by: Doris DePontes-Farrell (wife), Thomas Farrell (brother), Robert Farrell (brother), and Anna (sister). We love you John! Arrangements are being handled by Southern Utah Mortuary.
