Kami Barton Obituary (1987

Our heavenly father has called one of his angels home. Kami Jo Barton, age 25, passed away on October 29, 2012. She was born on August 9, 1987 in Cedar City, Utah to Robert B. and Garnet Mecham Barton. She was the youngest of 3 daughters.Kami had such a zest for life. She graduated from Cedar High School and worked at the Cinema 8 Theater. Her hobbies included; puzzles, crochet hats, playing games, watching game shows and her favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers. But most of all hanging out with her 2 best friends (Mom & Daddy Bob).Kami is survived by her parents Robert B. and Garnet Mecham Barton of Cedar City. Her sisters Brandi Barton (Shayne M.) Hunt and Merrilee Barton (Ryan) Garland. Plus 4 nieces and 1 nephew; Dallas M. Hunt, McKenzie D. Hunt, Kayla V. Hunt, Zachary R. Wendel and Rylee Garland.She is preceded in death by; her grandfathers David Benton Mecham and Ray Bruce Barton, uncles Vernal "Bud" Mecham and Neldon Larsen, her cousin Jeff Larsen and pet dog Lucky.Kami touched many hearts and made friends everywhere she went.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 am in the West Hills Chapel located at 1650 West Center in Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 7:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West, Cedar City. On Friday, November 2, 2012 the viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
