Kori Lee Kupfer, 32, passed away on Saturday, June 5th?in her Palmdale, California home.??She was born November 17, 1977 to Lee & Carol Kupfer in Cedar City, Utah where she spent the majority of her childhood years.??At 18 she moved to Las Vegas where she met her lifes love, Rick Silva, and they have been together ever since.Kori was a bright light in this world with a creative hand, a compassionate heart and lively spirit. Her beautiful smile, charming laugh and sparkling eyes could brighten any day. She loved her family and devoted so much to them. She saw people for who they were and treated everyone as an equal; stood up for the underdog and protected the innocent. There was no truer friend. She enjoyed being outdoors and cherished the mountains.??She had a soft spot for animals all her life and treasured her many pets: Sigh, Hendrix, Zipper, Zoey, Squiggy, Skizzy, Frankie, Houdini & Oscar just to name a few. Even her pets will miss her presence daily. Besides being an amazing, unselfish individual she had many achievements to mention: She completed training her own service dog and passed the Happy Tails Obedience Training. She enjoyed her work with disabled individuals.??She was a peer mentor.?She was currently studying to become a Certified Medical Assistant?for Front and Back Offices and just passed 3 classes with outstanding results- Medical Terminology, Basic Human Anatomy and Computer Literacy.
