Lorna Marie Ward Craw of Minersville, Utah slipped quietly home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born as Lorna Marie Ward on January 28, 1931 to Ettie Marie Littlefield Ward and Lorin Clewes Ward in Adamsville, Utah. Lorna was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which she loved and served her whole life. She married the love of her life John (Jack) Talbot Craw on September 12, 1947 at the home of her mother and father in Beaver, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized April 28, 1949 at the St. George Temple. Lorna held many callings throughout her life: Primary Teacher, Young Women's Leader, Relief Society President, Visiting Teacher and Missionary. She loved being a wife and homemaker, square dancing, sewing, crocheting, quilting and doing crafts and genealogy but her greatest calling and joy was her five children John, Gloria, Beverly, Robert and Neil, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Lorna leaves behind three children John Craw of Minersville, UT; Robert Craw (Elaine) of Washington, UT; Neil Craw of Minersville, UT; her sister Anna Beard (Glen) of Beaver, UT; 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Craw, daughter Gloria Finlinson (Cordell), grandson Jade Finlinson, daughter Beverly Stewart (Wayne), grandson Ryan Craw, parents Lorin and Marie Ward, stepfather Clyde Ward and sister Barbara Davenport. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Minersville Stake Center (130 W Main, Minersville, UT). Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3rd in the evening from 6-8:00 pm at the stake center. Another visitation will be held Friday, September 4th from 9:30-10:30 am also at the stake center. Interment will be in the Minersville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Lorna's family would like to give special thanks to Beaver Long Term Care for the great care and compassionate service they gave our Mom.
