Ann Lorraine Lofthouse Holm

Ann Lorraine Lofthouse was born October 18, 1931 in Lewiston, Utah. Lorraine passed away on May 7, 2024 at her home in Cedar City, Utah. Lorraine’s parents were John Henry Lofthouse II and Elva Ann Neely Lofthouse.

Lorraine attended school in Milford, Utah and always loved the outdoors, fishing with friends and family, and traveling to other countries. An incredibly giving and selfless person. Lorraine never met a stranger.

Lorraine married Albin Holm on October 18, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lorraine worked at the phone company while raising her 4 children. In the early 1970s she started raising plants in her backyard and selling them to neighbors. Eventually, she purchased land in Enoch and started Garden Park Nursery where she expanded and ran the nursery for 43 years, selling when she was 84 years old.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Elva Lofthouse, siblings, Harry Dwayne Lofthouse, Margene Carr, Deon Morlock, Darma Dietz, her husband Albin Holm, son Randal Albin Holm, son David Allen Holm, son-in-law Merrill Jones, granddaughter Stacia Kylene Sheffer. Lorraine is survived by daughter Sherrie Ann Jones, son Shaun Lane Holm, granddaughter Brandy Sierra Holm, and Brittany West. Siblings Marion Maxwell, Larry Lofthouse (Evie), Terry Lofthouse (Eileen). 5 other grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Southern Utah Mortuary on May 16, 2024 from 10-11 am. Graveside services will be at the Cedar City Cemetery at 11:30 am under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.mortuary.org.
