Marian Leggett

Marian (Mickie) Maxine Leggett, 81, passed away on December 14, 2014 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on July 13, 1933 in Essex, Illinois to Robert and Ida Mulligan. She married James Leggett on January 5, 1985 in Castaic, California. Mickie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steven Holden, sister Cheryl and brother Richard. In 1986 James and Mickie moved to Cedar City, Utah where they built their home. Mickie was a member of Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary and a life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as president for many years. Mickie is survived by three sisters and two brothers: Donna (Richard) Hillstead, Sharon Bissonnette, Robert Mulligan, Ronald Mulligan, and Debra Housley, as well as nieces, nephews and close cousins: Shirley and Ardell, and her beloved cat Emme. She had many close friends who will miss her dearly. A very special thank you to Intermountain Health Care and Hospice for the excellent care given to Mickie. Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Cedar City Cemetery. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
