Mark Douglas Peck passed on to a better place on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the age of 53, after a hard battle with Huntington's Disease. He was born on April 11, 1962 in Cedar City, UT to Jay and Sharon Peck. He graduated from Cedar High School, where he played baseball. He also earned his Eagle Scout Award. He married Kari Allred in 1983, and later divorced. Together they had three sons. Mark was a heavy equipment operator in Las Vegas and Alaska. He loved the outdoors and being in the mountains. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. Mark's greatest enjoyment in life was raising and spending time with his sons. Mark is survived by his sons: Justin of Las Vegas, NV, Jason of Las Vegas, NV and Jordan of Seattle, WA; his father, Jay Peck and step-mother, Karla Peck; siblings: Jaylynn (Calvin) Sorensen, Sherry Peck and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Peck and sister, Tamara Alger, who were also valiant fighters of Huntington's Disease. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
