Michael Coronado

Michael Andrew Coronado, 62, passed away peacefully December 9, 2021. He was born November 23, 1959 in Mobiletown AZ to Angel (Buster) and Maria Coronado. Mike grew up in Glendale AZ and attended Glendale High School.
Mike entered the construction industry right out of high school beginning as a lumber salesman and transitioning into an estimator. In 1987 Mike accepted an offer to launch a new division in Las Vegas, NV and two years later in 1989 Mike founded Westcor Construction which grew to become the largest privately held framing company in Nevada. He eventually expanded operations to include Coronado Concrete and Masonry, ACMP and many others.
After moving to Las Vegas Mike met and married the love of his life, Becky Williams on July 21, 1994 in Kauai, Hawaii.
Mike was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on September 19, 1998. Mike and Becky were sealed for time and eternity in the St. George temple on November 20, 2001. Mike was larger than life and he lived his life that way. As a business man he had many accomplishments but his greatest and most important accomplishment to him was his family.
Mike loved to spend time with his family and friends hunting and rodeoing. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his kids and family. He was so very proud of his children and all of their accomplishments. Mikes family meant everything to him.
Mike had many friends he loved and he loved to make new friends everywhere he went. Mike has touched many lives and will be missed greatly. Mike loved the gospel knowing that his family was forever!
He is survived by his wife Becky, children Dason (Jackie) Coronado, Kagen Coronado, McKenna Coronado and Kandyman Coronado all of Kanarraville, UT. His father Buster (Shirley) Coronado, two sisters, Norma Coronado and Josie Gallimore both of AZ, three brothers Steve Coronado of AZ, Ray Coronado of AZ and Ruben Coronado of NV.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Kanarraville Ward Chapel (80 S Main St, Kanarraville, UT). A viewing will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N 300 W, Cedar City, UT). A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Church in Kanarraville from 10:00-11:30am. Interment will be in the Kanarraville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
