Millie von Ritchie Obituary (1924 - 2015)

Mildred Olive von Ritchie passed away February 23, 2015 at the Beaver Valley Long Term Care Center. She was 90 years old. She was born April 13, 1924 in San Francisco, California to Roscoe and Margaret Pardue. Millie attended schools in the bay area as a child. She met and married Wayne Marion Schwatka on September 29, 1951 in Berkley, California. She was the Treasurer of the Berkley Hiking Club since she enjoyed many outdoor activities. After the passing of her 1st husband, she moved to Visalia, California and there she met Charlie von Ritchie. They were later married and moved to Adamsville, Utah where they built a log home. Millie liked to travel, two of her favorite travel destinations were Europe and South America. Millie lived her life serving others. She was a volunteer at Beaver Valley Hospital and the Senior Center from 2001-2015. She attended First Baptist Church in Beaver. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister and both her husbands. Millie's wishes were to be cremated. No funeral services will take place at this time.
