Surrounded by her loving family Nancy Dotson Howes, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister passed away at home on Monday, September 26, 2011 after a courage battle of lengthy illness with her husband Roger Howes by her side every step of the way.Nancy was born on February 20, 1941 to Dale Eyre and Ruth Burt Dotson. She spent her childhood in Minersville, UT where she established many very cherished friendship. She attended and graduated from Beaver High School in 1960. She went on to marry Phil Sisneros of Kanosh, UT and resided in Salt Lake City until the loss of their 1st infant son at birth. They then moved to Henderson, NV where they raised 3 children. Later divorced and moved her self and children to Minersville, UT in 1980 where she later met and fell in love and married Roger C. Howes of Marysvale, UT, they united a total of 7 children.Nancy and Rogers love of horse racing was so much that they owned a couple of their own. Roger was fortunate enough to take on various mining jobs that would allow them to experience the country that only others could dream of, Alaska being the favorite one of theirs. She was the type of mother and grandmother that anyone could talk to freely without feeling condemned or judged. She loved each one of her children and grandchildren with true and unconditional love.She is survived by her loving husband Roger C. Howes of Marysvale, UT; her children Malinda (Joe) Medler; Dale (Kristen) Sisneros of Beaver, UT; Kathy (Roger) Vigil of Chimayo, NM; Alesa Ackerman of Granite Bay, CA; Laurie Long of Lindon, UT; Lynda Smith of Orangevale, CA; Alyne Young (companion Gayland); her brother Ward (Jaleen) Dotson of Minersville, UT; 17 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren and2 on the way.Nancy is preceded in death by her infant son, her parents, her brothers Keith Burt Dotson, Allen Ward Dotson, her husband Rogers parents Tony and Devere Howes.A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 8, 2011 at the Minersville LDS chapel located at 130 W. Main St Minersville, UT 84752. Interment will be in the Minersville City Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
