Newt Meeks

–

Beryl, Utah

Newell Colter Meeks, allegedly 30 despite never acting a day over 12 years old, but had the knowledge of an 80-year-old. He was born in either St. George, UT or Mars – his siblings were never quite sure which – Newt died suddenly on May 27th, 2024 in Beryl, UT.

He was born in St. George, UT on June 8th 1993 to Rebecca Wulfenstein and Todd Meeks, who knew from the moment he was born that something was a little off. They were proven right when they noticed he had Zero fear and was always pedal to the metal. In 1998 the family moved to Beryl, UT with Newt's Step Dad Tyler Bracken and from then Newt continued to prove he was going to live life on the wild side. Newt attended Enterprise High School before becoming an entrepreneur in fabrication, and then…. And then …. Ok he was a jack of all trades, all of which amazed his family, who were pretty certain Newt would run away to join the JackAss crew.

Newt was loved by all, especially by dogs and his imaginary friends, of which he had many.

Newt was preceded in death by his mother Rebecca Wulfenstein, Father Todd Meeks, and sadly many more very close to his heart, who will be thrilled to deal with Newt antics in the afterlife, and is survived by Holly, Ty, Joice (Seth), Matt (Kayla), Bobbie(Steve), Tasha (Chance), Collin(Kyra), Liza(Charlie), Dakota(Siua), Austin(Lauren), Challen, and Hannah all who are still convinced this is all one big prank. If not all his Nieces and Nephews are going to miss him dearly which he has 26 immediate and many more that have adopted Uncle Noodles into their life.

Services will be held at the Enterprise community center on June 22nd, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Though Newt would have liked for everyone to wear clown costumes, please dress as you normally would for a memorial service. Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.mortuary.org.
