Ruth Easton

Ruth (Ruthee) Evelyn Firmage Easton, 82, of Mesa AZ passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2015. Daughter of Charles LeRoy Firmage and Jane Wood Firmage, she was born in Orange California on October 17, 1932 but was raised in Milford Utah. After finishing school she lived most of her life in southern California with a short time in Peterborough Ontario, Canada, some time in North Carolina, and most recently in the Mesa AZ area to be near her grandchildren. She was an active member of the LDS church where ever she lived. Later in her life she visited Milford on vacation and reconnected with John (Johnny) Easton whom she knew when she was growing up. They fell in love and were married in 1991. They lived together happily in the Mesa AZ area until he passed away in 1994. Ruthee was a beloved mother and is survived by four children; Michelle Humphries of Phoenix AZ; Wendy Johnson of New Bern, NC; Bruce Humphries of Denver Co and Greg Humphries of Peterborough Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Betty Firmage Barrett of Mesa AZ and a brother Jack Firmage of Sanford NC. Services will be held grave side on Thursday, May 21 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Milford City Cemetery where she will be buried next to her beloved Johnny. In lieu of flowers the family asks for a donation to be made in her name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research. Services under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
