Sharon Bauer born May 18, 1937 in Cedar City, Utah, passed away peacefully February 23, 2015 into the arms of her Heavenly Father. Many family members and friends were anxiously awaiting her arrival, including; her parents Harmel Bauer and Fern Ashdown Bauer, her siblings; Denton Bauer his wife Mary, Arlen Bauer, Karlynn Bauer Nelson her husband Ted, Margaret Bauer Tait her husband Adrian and brother-in-law Don Flint. Sharon is survived by her siblings; Bud Bauer his wife Annette, Frances Bauer Davis her husband Ken all from Cedar City, Janice Bauer Johnson her husband Don from Kearns, Bobbie Flint from Salt Lake City and sister-in-law Marilyn Kemple Bauer from Las Vegas along with hundreds of loving nieces and nephews. Though Sharon had limited abilities she touched our hearts and taught us many valuable lessons about unconditional love, compassion, family, Diet Pepsi and Johnny Cash. Those that know and love her have been immensely blessed with her earthly presence. Sharon had many loving caretakers throughout her life including American Fork Training School, Orem Valley Care Center and the devoted staff of Medallion Manor in Provo where she called home for the past several years and was loved and taken care of. The family wishes to thank them for caring for Sharon and giving her a home away from home and us a peace of mind. Visitation will take place from 10-11am on Saturday, February 28th at Southern Utah Mortuary. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held directly following.
