Shearlynn Sanders Obituary (1969

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Shearlynn Sanders on August 27, 2024. Shearlynn was born on September 28, 1969, in Cedar City, Utah, to Shearl and Sandy Sanders. She graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1987; she was a beloved partner, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Shearlynn was an avid gardener who found joy in nurturing her plumerias and took great pride in her garden. Shearlynn enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed any time she could spend outdoors and fishing. She cherished her cats, Jackson and Huey, and was known for her love of crafting, cooking, and organizing. Her ability to bring order to any situation was admired by all who knew her. Shearlynn is survived by the love of her life, Ron Corrigan; her children Tyson and Rebecca Brown, Bobby (Isabel) Wittmaak, and Ron’s daughter Breanna; her grandchildren, Daxton, Alex, Alyssa, and Arianna; her mother Sandy Kinnick and Bob Kinnick, who became her father in 1977; her siblings, Stephanie (Dustin) Wright, Rob (Cat) Kinnick, and Kim (Nick) Hansen; and nieces Alexis (Dakota) Thayne, Nikki, and Kaitlyn Hansen. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mont and Lanetta Sanders, Hugo and Maxine Sorenson, and her father, Shearl Sanders. Shearlynn’s warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family and passions will be remembered fondly. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
