Forever Loved, Forever Remembered

Our beloved Truman Garth Yardley, 24, tragically passed away on Tuesday October 27th, 2026 following an unexpected accident. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, and his absence will be felt in countless ways.

Truman grew up in Enterprise, Utah, alongside his seven siblings, raised by his parents, Mike and Lori Yardley. He loved growing up in a big family where there was no shortage of chaos and love.

He attended Enterprise High School, where he participated in theater, music, band, stage crew, cross country, track, and football. After graduating, he was called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Antigua, Guatemala mission. Due to covid, he also served in Farmington, New Mexico and Pheonix, Arizona. He grew to love the Guatemalan people and their culture.

Truman married the love of his life, Alexa Harris Yardley, on June 6th, 2025 in the Manti Temple. Together they began building a beautiful life and were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby, Oaklee Jo Yardley due in November. Although their time together was far too short, Truman was the best husband and had already shown what a wonderful father he would be to their baby girl.

Truman always had a way of making people laugh. His goofball personality was contagious, and he brought joy to those around him.

Family meant everything to Truman. He loved spending time with his siblings and his many cousins. We all have memories of Truman and his brother Austin bringing big tools from work to the family cabin. Together, they built rafts and catapults with all the cousins, bringing the whole family together for crazy adventures. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and was always willing to get down on their level, run around, play games, and join in on the fun. Their nickname for him was the “Hug Robot.” Those moments of laughter and play will be treasured by the little ones who loved him so much.

Truman loved working in construction alongside his brothers Austin and Charles as well as his uncles Philip and Mike Green, and the many friends he made on the crew. He enjoyed working hard, learning, and spending his days building.

He also had a deep love for music. Whether he was playing in a band, DJing, or helping with sound and lighting at events, Truman loved being part of something that brought people together.

Truman is survived by his loving wife, Alexa Harris Yardley, and their unborn daughter Oaklee Jo Yardley. His parents, Michael and Lori Yardley; and his seven siblings: Austin (Alyssa) Yardley, Allison (Quade) Jones, Emma (Braelyn) Jensen, Charles Yardley, Clara Yardley, William Yardley, and Adaline Yardley. His in-laws, Matthew and Joleen Harris, Austin Harris, Shayla Smith, Ashlee Harris, Nathan Harris, and Joshua Harris. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Ridge, Hazel, and Auden Jones, and Greyson and Colter Yardley, and Sadie Smith. As well as his grandparents, Garth and Wendy Green and David and Margaret Yardley; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Although our hearts are broken, we find peace in our faith and the promise that families can be together forever. We will carry Truman’s laughter, love, and adventurous spirit with us always.

Truman’s life may have been short, but the love he gave, and the memories he created will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
