Walter Pearson

Walter “Scott” Pearson, age 74, passed away on January 12, 2017. He was born on December 30, 1942 to Ralph and June Pearson.   Scott enjoyed farming and ranching. He spent a lot of time outdoors with his family and friends hunting, trapping, camping and cutting Christmas trees.   Scott is survived by his wife Renee Pitts Pearson of Milford, UT. His children Troy (Buffy) Pearson of Milford, UT. Matt (Tara) Pearson of Cedar City, UT. Chett (Stacy) Pearson of Beaver, UT. Cindy Whitney of Hurricane, UT.  Jennifer (David) Puffer of Minersville, UT. and Brandie (Greg) Garner of Salem, WV. His sister Jetta (David) Robinson of Minersville, UT. along with 31 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.   Scott is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and June Pearson, Son Tommie Scott Pearson and brothers Raul and Shaun Pearson. Funeral Services are at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Minersville Stake Center. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at the Minersville Stake Center from 6pm-8pm and Wednesday, January 18th from 9am-10:30am. Interment services will follow at the Minersville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
