Wilma Price

Wilma Savage Price, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Cedar City, Ut on 11 Dec 2016. Born to Howard Moroni Savage and Louise DeMille on 20 May 1950 in Cedar City, Ut. Married Andy Pruitt after high school (later divorced). She attended cosmetology school and practiced in Cedar City for many years. Married Alan Bess (later divorced) together they had one child Staci (Tom) Ford. They lived in Page, Az later moving to Las Vegas, Nv where she worked at the King 8 Hotel Casino as a waitress. She met and married John Wayne Price on 11 Dec 1980. Together with her daughter Staci and Johnny's son Terry, they lived a happy eventful life in Las Vegas until moving back to Cedar City in 1990.  Wilma worked at Jerry's Beauty Salon and Albertsons until retiring in 2004. She spent many years dedicated to caring for her mother. They enjoyed quilting and making afghans together. Wilma adored her 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was excited for the arrival of her 3rd great grandchild. She would do anything to spoil them. Wilma is survived by her devoted child Staci (Tom) Ford. Grand Children Corey (Sheyenne) Burt, Travis (Delana) Burt, and Brandi Burt. Great grandchildren Karaline and Brenna Burt and one on the way. Brothers, Mike (Lou Ann) Savage, Paul (Geri) Savage and Jon (Linda) Savage.  Funeral services will be held at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N 300 W, Cedar City) on Saturday 17 Dec 2016 at 1:00 pm. Viewing will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the mortuary. Graveside dedication to follow at Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
